About the role

One of the ways GrowthX helps members stay ahead is through high-intensity, hands-on AI Buildathons in partnership with leading AI companies. These are execution-heavy experiences where professionals build real systems, solve real business problems, and learn technologies before they become mainstream.

We are looking for a Community Intern to help us scale these experiences. This is a generalist role across community, events, GTM, and operations. You will work closely with the team to make Buildathons sharper, faster, and more impactful.

What you will be doing

Enable AI Buildathons at scale: own the execution and growth of ~15 Buildathons every month by building playbooks, handbooks, operating processes, and support systems
Own GTM for events: craft event narratives, write landing pages, develop distribution strategies, and improve conversion
Spot important trends before everyone else across AI models, workflows, and products
Build and nurture the Host Club of community ambassadors
Contribute to product and operations: ship small product improvements and event workflows
Think like a generalist, not just an operator: connect community, distribution, product, and execution to make each Buildathon stronger

What we are looking for

Deep curiosity about AI and emerging technologies
Strong execution ability
Excellent written communication skills
Ability to learn quickly and operate independently
High ownership and accountability
Comfort working with AI products and tools in day-to-day execution
A product mindset: you think about users, distribution, and what makes something useful and sticky
A strong bias toward building is a plus

Non-negotiables

You have built something before. A prototype, product, automation, workflow, or tool. We are looking for proof that you can turn ideas into execution.
You are genuinely comfortable using AI products, not just interested in them
You can think beyond tasks and understand users, distribution, and product value
Technical background is not mandatory, but being able to reason clearly about how things work is important

Bonus points

Experience building with AI tools
Experience hosting communities or events
Familiarity with coding and shipping projects
